What's the roadster
« on: March 25, 2013, 03:12:40 PM »
Years ago I took this picture somewhere in Virginia and my question (for which I do not have an answer) is what is the half hidden roadster?

It could well be an MGA. The bonnet (hood) opening is the right shape, and also the windscreen and rear wing profile. It looks as if it has collapsed in the middle, though.

These were made in the UK from 1955 to 1962, but the majority were exported, so many would have found their way to the US.

Another vote for MGA.  A smaller image would be helpful, tho.

I agree with that MGA...top of the dash looks the same

The top of the cowl (dash) is flatter than the MG's. The drop in the door, and the flatter top of the rear deck, lead me to think it's a TR-2
