Hello autopuzzlers!
I'd like to know Your opinion about giving points in the group puzzles. While here at Auto Puzzles we have many group puzzles that have been solved in days or weeks but there also some which contain real mysteries or are very huge and are unsolved for a very long time. There is no answer when these mysteries are indentified. In normal puzzles the point are given once the autopuzzler correctly identifies the vehicle, but in most group puzzles the puzzle must be fully solved and only then the points are given. Because of one or some unsolvable mysteries the autopuzzlers are prevented from getting deserved points. These points could be added today, tommorow or later after several years - as soon as someone finds the correct answer to the puzzle that none else knows. The question is: Do You think the points in the group puzzles should be added once You correctly identify the mystery in group or once the group puzzle is fully solved?
Please vote &/ reply. Your opinion is important.

I think you should add the "puzzler's decision" option. If I want to press you to solve my group puzzles, what is better than this way? If I prefer to give the point at the end because I'm afraid to mess things up doing it before, why should I give them at once? It's just my opinion, since I've not group-puzzles posted and of course I'd like to have my points at once, but I can wait!

And it will always be that way.
I find your polls ill thought out, Arunas, and pertaining to topics that would be better presented by admins. This is the General Auto category. Your polls seem better suited to Site News and Suggestions.

That's the The path I've taken - much easier to managet aht way.

As a puzzle solver I find it a bit annoying to wait untill the puzzle is solved to get the points cause there are some puzzles that will keep unsolved for such long periods (or don't get solved completely at all!) . I know that's always puzzler's choice but I think there should be like a 4 or 6-month deadline to award the points of the answeres correctly given. That doesn't mean the puzzle is going to be deleted or anything, just that who has answered just can't find the answers to the remaining! At the end of so much time, only chance will give the remaining answers, not a looooooong enough search that will drive anyone crazy or make you just give up. IMO, that's not the point of the puzzles...
I must agree with Arunas this time!

My opinion (as a poster of many group puzzles and solver of some):
- Poster's decision is and should stay the rule.
- Personally, I am in favor of giving the points when it's COMPLETELY solved. Much more easy to manage this way, as others have said. Most of all , it's the ONLY WAY to have autopuzzlers really trying to get the job done. I spent some time, often successfully, searching for the last answers in group puzzles where there was 2 or 3 unsolved elements, and it was FUN.
Otherwise we will be left with tons of unsolved group puzzles in the pro section!
Come on guys, don't be too greedy. Or, if you really WANT those points, get down to it and get the job done.

That's a very good idea I think it should be considered.
