Vent Window ID help?
« on: March 14, 2013, 10:35:33 AM »
Hi folks. These vent windows were part of a small package of spares we bought for our Bizzarrini. As you can see, they have "Bizzarrini" written on them in grease pencil but it's obvious they are not Bizzarrini pieces as the Bizzarrini actually uses a small paddle style crank to open the vent window. They are "Securit" glass so this would lead one to believe they may have originated on a car of Italian origin. Any guesses?

The glass is slightly curved on a vertical plane. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Just bumping this up. I know Securit had a date coding system but I've done a lot of searching and cannot find any information. These have a code of 8 J. Can anyone tell me what that is? At least we'll have an idea of what decade to be looking in...

Thanks!
