Not for US consumption, sadly.

Ford Offers RS500 Engine Mods to All RS Owners

Published Apr 9, 2010

    * A new MP350 package gives regular Focus RS owners access to the RS500 engine mods.
    * Horsepower increases from 296 on the stock RS to 345.
    * Cars with the MP350 package retain Ford's factory warranty coverage.

COLOGNE, Germany — Following the announcement of its hot new Focus RS500, Ford announced today that it will offer an MP350 upgrade package for the standard Focus RS that increases that car's output to 345 horsepower and 339 pound-feet of torque — the same as on the RS500.

Developed with Mountune Performance, the MP350 kit can be ordered as a factory-approved package on a new Focus RS or as an aftermarket upgrade through Ford dealers, initially in the U.K. and later across Europe. Cars fitted with the kit retain their factory warranty coverage.

The MP350 package for the Focus RS includes a recalibrated ECU, a larger intercooler, a larger air box, a larger-diameter exhaust downpipe and an uprated fuel pump.

Of course, this upgrade kit will only be offered in Europe, with sales starting first in the U.K. Pricing has not been announced.
