One of those things we really don't need to know but still interesting.
The article pasted below tells the story of Chinese students in the Midwest US purchasing very expensive cars to use during their stay in the US. I just stumbled across it while looking for something else.
It is of great interest to me as I was born in China in 1940 when I doubt there were more than a few thousand automobiles in the entire country if even that many. Now, China produces more cars and trucks than the US since about 2-3 years ago, breaking the US record for the highest auto/truck producing country that probably dated back to around 1900 or so.
