The 2nd version of the header is up.

I'll create a poll tomorrow to see which one you like better. And maybe we can somehow merge the two variants as well :) :)

I'm torn - prefer the pictures on version 1 but the text is a lot better on V2.

Just think the text is too fussy on V1 for a web page. The logo would probably look fine at print quality but screensized it is a bit hard to read.

Thanks to everyone who went into the trouble of voting. Though here V1 won 3 by 2 (though I preferred V2, I voted for V1 but my vote doesn't count), adding up all other votes from non-AutoPuzzlers V2 won by a huge margin.

FYI V2 was done by our own Allemano - thanks for his assistance.

Question:

I would like to invite the curators and staff of each and every museum on your site to join this site.  This site would provide a vast knowledge base of auto experts information for the museums and the new members from the museums would further enrich our automotive knowledge at AutoPuzzles.

Any chance anyone here could be helpful in providing emails for the folks at auto museums?

Btw, the site looks great but when I put my address in and 300 miles it mysteriously leaves out the Henry Ford Museum when I do an automotive search.  Perhaps an oversight?.

That would be AWESOME, imho.

I also noticed a couple museums along US Route 66 did not come up in a search either....

Still ... LOVE the site!

As I mentioned to Ultra it comes up in the search as "The Henry Ford Museum" :)

Well, for starters, Afton Station, Afton OK.  Laurel has a bunch of vintage cars, mostly Packards.

I'd like to quickly summarize what happened during the last few months.
First, Google refused to index our site. Then, due to negligence by the hosting company automuseums.info received a phishing attack.
We had to change ISP.

And then an old friend of mine, who's running the Museums' Committee within FIA sent me a note, that automuseums.info may be useful for FIA and I'm invited at the Historical Comission's meeting to discuss potential cooperation.
I was in Paris yesterday and I am very happy to report that the Comission decided to use automuseums.info as a basis for their own museums' guide! It's a very exciting opportunity for future development.

And I even got to meet Jean Todt and shake his hands  8)

That's excellent news Pal.
Just reward for all your hard work in a sector of the market that is often neglected.
I still feel sad that my local museum at Mougins closed down some time ago - I used to enjoy visiting it when they changed themes on a regular basis.
There are so many museum quality cars in this part of the world (between Cannes and Menton) with nowhere to display them.
Anyway, well done and I look forward to following progress in the future.

I can only greet you - these are excellent news. What will FIA's museums guide look like, I wonder? A booklet, a section on their site or something else?

The FIA museum list will be a section on their site (or a section on automuseums.info - it has not been decided yet).

Please check automuseums.info
Allemano came up with a nice new logo and the home page has been revised. Let me know what you think.

Very nice. It now has some sort of auto club feeling about it with a new logo. Touched with my photo in a header as well, thanks :)
