I know I've seen it before, but that's an incredible transformation. I'd have a tough time ever parting with a machine after putting that kind of blood, sweat, and tears into it.

Still, it's one of the sweetest cars ever built, so how could you not try and save one?

Here's a link to another site for a much more involved restoration of an E-Type done by a friend of mine in Ca. This guy not only did metal work, he painted his own car, and built a plating device to replate the pieces, plus he built his own powder coating setup! Be prepared to spend a bit of time with this one, it's very detailed with tons of great pics and explanations but a great story - and the car turned out wonderfully!

Bill's a hell of a nice guy, we've been exchanging email about his resto off and on for a while now. He needs to update the site tho, I noticed. He's actually had the car on the road for a while now. He sent me another link to the updates a while back, I'll see if I still have it.
