Good to know what motivates Ray!

His comment The really exciting drivers in the old car races are the British. When these guys race, man, they do race. reminds me that we had some German or Austrian owners of quite important front-engined GP cars (Maserati 250F and Ferrari 625 from memory) entered at Vintage Sports-Car Club Silverstone some years ago who were staggered that the other (local) competitors seemed to take the racing seriously!
