I also read this one, after "The junk". Maybe I should read all those stories in "Featured Articles" before going further, but something came to me.
Some time ago in Brussels, I've bought a book called "True tales of american life" edited by Paul Auster. It came from a project in which a National Public Radio suggested to its listeners that they send stories they had to tell. It's a wonderful book, with fine writing by people who are not writers. I later bought a french translation for my wife to read.
It struck me as Karn's an P-head's pieces were like true short stories (that typical american genre). If we had more like these, don't you believe it could make a nice little book of auto-related memories and nostalgia?
What do you say, Editors and Autopuzzlers?
