A picture for sale on ebay made me remember one of my first pictures I took of a car, and yes it already was an old car back then. The old car virus must have got hold of me already in February 1978 when I was just 14. My picture shows a BMW 600, about 20 years old then. It was parked a few streets away from my home. The camera was very cheap, the viewfinder was quite off center, so many times the desired object just appeared partly on the photo, but in this case the BMW was completely depicted.
The ebay photo showed the same car sometimes later after a frontal accident which most probably marked the end of the car. Let's hope that the driver wasn't hurt badly.
