Could it be another 1900? In that stand we have a Giulietta Sprint, a 1900s and a 1900ss...don't think it's a C...could it be a TI?

Are we sure it's a MB 300 and not a MB 220? I have this doubt because of the roof shape, the top of the windscreen is more curved than 300's one, in my opinion. I asked to Paul Jaray why he decided for 300, and he told me that it depends on the split front bumper. Does anyone have a final word about it?

I'd opt for the 220, because the 300 always had chrome A-pillars. Furthermore, on a picture of this quality you can't tell the difference between split bumpers and a single bumper optically divided by a plate. For comparison I'll attach a picture of the brand new 220 at Geneva in March, 1954.

I should say that I'm not an expert in old (nor new) Mercedes... so I guess it should have been correct... but now I see there could be indeed a 220... because of the A-pillar, which looks chromed on the 300 and looks dark in the Turin pic...

I've been a lot on that pic before I made my decision.
There's also another clue...but of course I might be wrong.
I'm sending you an email...I don't know how to attach pictures via PM  :-\

And behind the 300 S you can see a Mercedes-Benz 220 Cabriolet (W 187), still built, although the saloon already changed to the new series.

Yes, the white car should be a 300S (cabriolet)

If you mean the car beside the 300S cabriolet... I really cannot recognize it as a 220 cabriolet... do you have a better picture or something to prove your identification?

I don't have a picture from Turin 1954, but for comparison see the attached picture. The dark roof on the light body proves it to be a convertible, the length of the roof rules out the Cabriolet A, the curved front wing makes it a 220 and not a 300.

You may be indeed right... but the picture is too bad for a proper identification, and I have no other info about it...
Can someone help the identification??  :)

The white convertible behind the Kapitän looks like a Cadillac Eldorado...
