Currently trying to find a picture (or two) of the BMW E504 prototype, essentially (if I've got the translation correct) a 4-door extended wheelbase version of the BMW 503 and also produced somewhere in the realm of 1955-1957. I feel that somewhere out there is a birds-eye shot of a BMW display at an auto show (again 1955-1957) that includes this car, but so far have been unable to locate it.
Many Thanks to anyone who can provide info/pic!

Something along these lines? I don't think this is the car you're looking for; I'm just trying to get a feel for what it is you seek.

That's certainly around the correct time, but I'm certain that isn't the e504. My problem stems from the fact that I'm fairly certain I saw the E504 online (at a 50s autoshow), but didn't know what it was as it wasn't captioned. Then I discovered the e-codes for BMWs that described the E504 (in German) as a 4-door 3 meter wb version of the 503 and decided that must have been it - then I couldn't find the picture again! So that's my dilemma. Incidentally, what car are we looking at in your photo?
Thank you!

...I think the photo I had seen depicts the E505 and not the E504, after careful review, and that it appeared at the IAA in Frankfurt, 1955. But a photo of the E504 should still exist somewhere...
