Some pictures from my (3rd) visit at the Museo Storico on 24 June 2010, exactly 100 years after Alfa was founded

The pictures are not that great, because:
A) I suck in making photos
B) The lighting in the museum is horrible
C) A lot of people were walking all the time in front of the cars
D) this time, a lot of the cars were 'protected' by a rope.

Also some of the cars were not present (Pebble beach, Goodwood,...)

But it gives an impression of the content of the museum.

Holy cow!

Actually, 75, I think those pics are great.  I doubt I'll ever get there in person, so the pics are much appreciated.  Thank you for sharing them!

The day I took these pictures was the last day the museum was open for the public.
Now a petition on the net was just started to re-open it.
Signing it will most probably not help but you never know.
So in case you support this initiative (and I can not imagine that a single visitor of Autopuzzles would be against it), please sign it as well.

Given the conditions under which you were shooting, I think you did a marvelous job.  The only improvement I can think of would be to add captions to each photo, identifying the car by year and model.  I know it's a lot of work, but it's very helpful to those who read the posts/websites, etc.  I've been doing this since 1999 in the "Car Show and Cruise Night" section of my primary website:
http://www.chevyasylum.com/cruisin/Welcome.html

I signed the petition.  I hope it helps.

One last thought.  I love the photo of the stove.  In the US, there's a saying, "stock as a stove" which means a car that's hasn't been modified, even in the smallest way.  I guess I'll have to re-think that when it comes to Alfas.   :lmao:
