I don't know how an html thingie will work but I will try it.

I lived in Lima 1977-1978 and tried to take the time to get some "candid" photos of everyday cars that you could see on every street and every corner on the way to work or out to dinner in the evening.

These two pages represent a photo essay article I wrote for "Restored Cars" magazine in Australia during that time.

I hope it works and if so that you folk enjoy it.

Edit:  OK my total lack of knowledge of how to make a computer do what I want is evident again.
If any of the tech geeks know how to make it appear as just a photo, have at it.

Thanks so much, Ray......

I do have some other photos that I think will fit on this thread and when I find them I will post them.

With all due respect to our Peruvian members, the 1977-1979 period was a bit difficult in that country and it was almost impossible to buy 35mm film in the normal bodegas.  One had to travel and get access to the Duty Free shops to get such things and my wife said "No bloody car photos, only family photos" so I was only able to sneak a few.  Too bad we did not have Smart Phones back then.
Thanks Again.
