Spontanousely me and a good friend of mine decided to go to Schloss Dyck last Friday. We didn't have time for the whole weekend, so it was only the 'cheap'* Friday, but it was worth every cent. The other days were much more fancy according the agenda, but after all we didn't regret it at all.

We were lucky and had the chance to talk with lot of car owners who were just arriving that time.
Esp. speaking with Mr. Paulussen the builder of the impressive Beradino was a big pleasure. One of the pics shows hime starting the engine just for us. A very handsome and polite guy and very proud of his car.  ;)
Further we talked with the owner of the Chysler Town & Country woody. He was very friendly and showed us everything he did for a perfect restoration.

The Touring Alfa 1900 is one of a kind and still road going, but as you can see it was no surprise it didn't make it in the hall of fame of good car design....

After walking about 8 hours that huge event we were ready for riding home tired and whacked, but we'll come back next year for sure!

Too much awesome in one post!

What is the dusty, Porsche-928-like Alfa Romeo in Batch #5?

Allemano

Thank you! :)

It's the Zagato Alfa Romeo Zeta Sei.

sixtee5cuda

It doesn't even look like it is in the show.  Just a car someone drives every day.

Yes it was parked somehow beside of the show...

I'm jealous, Allemano! Seriously, P538, those racing cyclecars, 550s, 500cc Cooper and some cars I don't have a slightest idea about...

Superb photos - thanks for sharing these Allemano.
It certainly looks like an event that I have to try to attend next year.....

Fine pics.

I´ve been there at saturday and will post some more photos, too.

Has Mr.Paulussen showed his Beradino book at the event?

I´ve bought the fabulous book about the Paulussen Beradino directly
from Mr. Paulussen yesterday at the Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring race track.

I really want to tell all of you it is a great buy!

I´ve obtained the german version, but at his website he claims
that there might be an english version, too.

It shows the construction of this gem from the first sketches to its current state in a very professional way - just buy it...

He proudly offered me that book for only 10 Euros (!), but unfortunately I already had spent all my money and he didn't accept EC-payment....

Another friend of mine is at the Nürburgring as well. I ordered some pics as I've got no time this weekend.

:D

Unbelievable - it´s been almost the same with me.

My cash at the end of the event was around 10,34 EUR, but it´s been enough in the end...

Outstanding photos!  It's amazing what a nice photo one can get from one of the little Panasonic cameras.  I use one as my "spy cam" for when I can't get one of my Canon DSLRs into a location...like the interior or engine compartment.  You've done very nicely.  Is there a cross-reference of year/make/model of vehicle to go with the photos?  I'd love more info on some of them, especially the Berodino, a marque I've never heard of until I saw your shots.  Again, great stuff!

Allemano

Thank you!  :)

I've done most of the shots very hasty, so, please apologize that I don't have a list of these cars.  :-\
If you like to know more of them the official Classic Days page (or others) might help you.
