Cars – No People. Your Contributions are Welcome!

There are, I'm sure, millions of pictures available of cars with no people in the shot. That's not exactly what this here photo thread is about. Here, the theme is vintage (before 1980) pictures of cars that appear to be recently vacated by their drivers or owners.

These photos beg the question: where are the people? There a many possible answers, including:

• They may have been abducted my aliens.
• Could be they popped back inside to use the bathroom, or to turn off the iron.
• Maybe they are on the run from the law, and don't want there picture taken.
• Perhaps they jumped out to take these very pictures.

We'll likely never know. Here are a handful to get us started, please add some of your own.

Technically, no people here (IN the car, that is, as they seem to have thought they would be safer out).
No bear either IN the car. But I'd say he'll soon be in.
