Taking a bucket and water to your car, and reacquainting yourself with the curves, creases and dents (ouch!) of your car, is one of the most satisfying aspects of owning a car, when you're not driving it. A perennial fund-raiser used to raise money for church and school field trips, sororities and keggers, group car washes are part of automobile life. A sense of pride for some, a family affair for many, a source of income for others.
In this thread, I've collected different pictures of cars being washed - not so much the impersonal automated washing so many use, but more-so the old-fashion bucket, cloth and chamois variety. But there a couple of machine-wash pictures in here...
