Your contributions are 100% welcome.

No rules, except the pictures should come from you - i.e., only post pictures you took. Race cars, unusual / unique cars, cars you love, etc. I have some to add later that didn't make the cut in the Studebaker and Greenfield Village thread, but don't have immediate access to my other computer.

So, post 'em here. Please!  :)

I went to a Mopar show in Everett, Washington over the weekend.  Lots of great cars, this one stood out a bit.

1957 DeSoto Fireflite Sportsman.  4-door hardtop, with a Hemi.

Just some days ago, back on the way to my girlsfriend´s home those two ultrarare Opel convertible conversions drove in front of me.
In the very front was an Opel Diplomat B convertible, the car in front of me was a Diplomat A convertible.

Never in my life have I seen two of those together - fortunately my camera was laying on the passenger seat... :)

Some weeks ago I´ve shot this rare Lancia Montecarlo. It was not for sale, but will be restored.

Then, on my way back home I´ve seen a rare VW Fridolin on the Autobahn, let it overtake and shot this photo...

Some weeks ago, during my visit to Berlin I came across those three rare birds:

My limousine Corvair by Raymond Loewy suffered from a damp winter here in New Jersey.
When I moved her out from cover the body work had severely blistered at the junction of the forward main and rear raised roof. also the decklid was damaged.
Just how I wanted to spend "FATHERS DAY" grinding and exposing the less than admirable original body work by Pinchon Parat! So much body filler ..... how it lasted this long I'll never know.
Now begins the fun part of blending original and repaired areas, trying to keep as much of the original as I can.
They are, after all, original only once!
Wish me luck :)

Now, this IS a rare bird!

Do you have a full view of your unique corvair, too?
