Missing the E-Type aura.

For one point, please respond and identify this car.

Reliant 3 wheeler based.

On another note what is it about these small cars that attracts designers who are well unusual. Look at the roof line and then the window line between the door and the rear glass. There was the other one you posted a few weeks ago (wendex 3672) that suffered from the same problems in shape.

Not Reliant-based.

The world of microcars ranges from beauties to design catastrophes, perhaps comparable with the british kit car scene.

I've found it. Carefully camouflaged to look like a very western European sans permis with a dragster-style flip-front it's the Csaszi from József Császár of Hungary. Did the legislation in Hungary support the same type of unlicensed vehicle - niche market at the time? It looks too well-built to be an entirely speculative venture. This could be the Csaszi-2, the only article I could find is a little imprecise as to which one is which and it unfortunately didn't make it into Pal Negyesi's book.

You did some fine detective work. Pal can surely tell us more about this little car, the Csaszi-2.
