All I learned was this is a Diamond T 980 truck that was re-bodied in 1955.

Not Kässbohrer, and not Vidal & Sohn either (that was the builder of the Tempo vans), but the commercial coachbuilder Herbert Vidal & Co who mainly is known fir trailers, but also bodied trucks and vans:
