Remember it's one guess at a time here but yes it's Scottish. England definitely doesn't encompass Scotland.

On reflection I wouldn't say it was cheeky. I assumed that on a intelligent website the political & geographical differences between England & Scotland (let alone Ireland) wouldn't need much explanation.

I can't think of anyone anywhere who would consider it right to answer that a car made in Scotland is English. It's actually rare for anyone here to ask if it's English; the question is usually "British?", knowing that includes any country in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Ok fellas, don't get your knickers in a twist. I get it. England doesn't include Scotland. I wasn't a straight-A student in school and besides, in Highschool, my education mainly focused on electronics.
Given that both of you have the UK as a location, I can see how what would be a much closer topic of distinction to you. That's fine. Let's move on.
