Kaeble KDV 832 SF 1 of 191 "Frontlenker" trucks between 1951 - 1955. This one was used by the French army for tank transport.

Yes, it is one of several Kaelble used by the French military but not a KDV 832 SF. The period of manufacture is correct.

631 SF, the specific puzzle vehicle is from the year 1953.

Yes, it is a KDV 631 SF. Of this version 191 were built, of the KDV 832 SF (8 cylinders, 19.1 litres displacement, 200 hp, 1040 Nm) there were only 20 examples. Unfortunately, my source does not say anything about the exact year of manufacture of the puzzle tractor.

Impressive vehicle! Thanks for the point. The year 1953 I found on a "classic digest" website where this vehicle was sold. To me, as a non-specialist, it looks like the same vehicle.
