I missed that!  Yes, the car had a Ford engine and the series was based around this engine, but it wasn't Formula Ford as we know it.

Mmmmm..... yes and no. At the time this car was built, the series was exclusively Ford-powered, but later another engine was specified. The title of the series is very close to FF2000.

That's close enough for me. I have it as a Bowman BC5 from 1998. The series was run in North America and was called F2000, powered by Ford Pinto engines, although I believe the formula now uses Mazda units.
