Is it a competition car?
I believe it was built with minor competition in mind. Probably trials and autotests.
One source refers to it specifically as the 'KJW Hill Climb Special' (and also mentions that it was fitted with a Healey Sprite transmission).
It was built immediately post-WW2 so it can't have had a Sprite transmission in period. I guess this was a later addition, although I've no idea if the car still exists.
Anyhoo - well done. The source reckons it was based on a LWB Morris Minor of 1932, which were actually marketed as the Morris Eight, before the actual Morris 8 as we know it! KJW of course stands for the builder and owner Ken Wharton, very well-known in the 1950s as a well-above-average driver in many categories. Even brave enough to pilot a BRM V16 on occasion.
The chassis was shortened for this car. Registration was GV963.
