Is it Buttercup?

The builder/owner driver is Ken Rawlings, and he is driving in your photo. The car was built in 1949-50 from the Standard-Triumph parts bin but was essentially a modified Standard 8 chassis with a Vanguard engine. It was immensely successful and of course painted a bright yellow colour.

That's right of course. I couldn't resist using the car as a puzzle after someone recently misidentified another trials special as this car.  I think Rawlings also drove the car with some success in sprints and even some circuit races.
