VII Coupe des Voiturettes
21 September 1913
№ 2 D’Avaray
That's correct - another point to you.
Anasagasti cars were powered by French Picker-Janvier engines and cars were raced at the 1912 Coupe de l'Auto under the French company's name. Some historians think the 1913 cars are the same ones entered under another name, but South American websites confirm that Anasagasti sent cars to race in Europe at this time, and indeed one of them raced at Brooklands in 1914, presumably left behind to save the cost of shipping across the Atlantic. It does seem a long way to travel for one race!
