I wish I knew. I have Googled it and Google Imaged it and can find nothing.

It was either built outside the UK or built in the UK on a LHD chassis - whatever, it is presently registered in a country outside the UK.

It's my belief that this is a fairly recent photo, made to look more period.

Yes those wheels do look a bit wider than you would expect. So we have a modern incarnation of a "vintage" car with an SS grille and Jaguar power. Is there more information to be had - is the chassis known? Is it Jaguar?

I know the base car and its date of origin, and the probable date it was recreated as the puzzle car. It is a production Jaguar model.

Yes it is ... it's the XK150 Old Mill Special, presumably based on a '57 car and built in 1989.

Indeed it is, and I presume the same dates since those are mentioned on the caption. There doesn't seem to be anything else on the net about the car, although no doubt someone will say otherwise. I think the registration plate is German.

Something in the back of my memory links the "Old Mill" to a Jaguar specialist of yore, although I'm probably wrong.
