It is a UK Ford, but not a Cortina and not designed by Clark.

1972 Ford Escort Coupe proposal "project Brenda". This proposal being the Brenda S3 (label on front wing near the A-Pillar). Project showed a blend between the Ford Escort and Ford Capri. Interesting design which never surpassed the proposal stage.

What question is remaining? The Ford Escort Coupe "Brenda S3" proposal by Roy Haynes Automotive International.

A front shot of this cool design blending the Escort with the Capri.

The remaining questions is "who designed it?".
The answer is not Roy Haynes Automotive International; it was designed at Dunton by a well-known designer and I need this individual's name for the point.
Still locked for you.

My source for resolving this puzzle was not a book but an Italian forum.

No problem but thanks for removing your posts.
I've probably finished using that particular source anyway, but it's still better not to disclose any sources!
