I believe this car has featured before,  but now I want to know who was driving it and where (as well as what the car is) - for 1 point:

Would I be correct in saying that the photograph was taken in the 1960s. My thinking is that hay bales have not been around foe some time.  :)

Is the car an AC Aceca?  The rare Ford Zephyr engined version?
It has no race numbers so presumably isn't on a race or rally.  So is it being road tested - or rather track-tested?
The track?  Snetterton
The driver?  John Bolster

It's not an AC Aceca, no.
It is being driven competitively but I don't know why it doesn't carry any racing numbers; I didn't paint them out!
It's not at Snetterton and neither is it being driven by John Bolster.

It is an Aston Martin DB2 I believe - is it Michel Sparken driving, perhaps in Agadir in 1954.

I belive his real name was Michel Poberejsky, but he always raced with the nom de plume. By 1954 the car had been fitted with a DB3S engine.

Correction: the car is a 1952 DB3-3 and was rebuilt with this Vignale body for 'Myke Sparken' in 53-54. it was subsequently written off in a road accident.

This is it exactly, yes!
And you're right about the Frenchman's real name as well.
Well done.
