Lotus APX (Aluminum Performance Crossover) from around 2006.  (This was in my queue of puzzles waiting to be posted.)

It developed into the Zap-X all-electric crossover, shown in 2007.

(It is possible the puzzle car is not a Zap-X, as it has exhaust pipes...)

(It could also be said to have developed into the Youngman Lotus SUV (Proton MSX), but the bodywork is different)

That's what I was looking for, yes.
It was pictured as a ZAP-X but at that time I don't think they had actually built one so used photos of the Lotus..!  A bit of airbrushing might have helped their case.  On the other hand, it was described as the ZAP-X Electric Crossover rathan than All-Electric, so maybe the exhaust pipes had a purpose..
Well done.

For reference here is an image of a Youngman SUV developed by Lotus, the Lotus APX with Proton MSX badging, a left-rear view of the Lotus APX, and a sketch of the ZAP-X electric SUV

I've seen the Youngman a couple of times in the metal and it is very cool, one of the most attractive SUV designs I have ever seen (shame about the terrible build quality though). Only now do I realize that it was based on the APX... No wonder it looked so good.
