Is it a Mercur without any numbers?
Ein Henschel zieht am Berg und ein Mercedes
an den Türen. (and an attempt of a translation):
A Henschel in rushing up the hill, wheras in a Mercedes wind is rushing through the doors. c/o norberthanke

Yes 90 is correct, but I think there is a mistake happen in my source:
They say , it is a 'Mercur 90 L', but I've never found a 'Mercur 90 L' in my archive. As I know the year of the truck, I think, it should be a 'Mercur S4500'
LOCKED for you to find year and coachbuilder

Let's start with the type designation: As it is an LF 8, i.e. a fairly light fire engine, the 90 hp already fits. According to Mr Regenberg, it was available in the
S 3500 / Sirius and in the S 4500 / Mercur.
The puzzle LF 8 was built three times in 1954 by Jacobs & Sohn in Neunkirchen, Saarland. One example ended up in the Prora Railway and Technology Museum on the island of Rügen. See photo.
We have a Mercur 125 FA, built in 1959, in our fire brigade as a traditional vehicle. We received it from our twin town in 1991 and it was only decommissioned in 1998. From ‘96 to ’98, I drove and operated it on several missions. Second photo

Sorry, it took some time to research a little further about the puzzle car. All documetations describe the base truck as 'Magirus Deutz Mercur 90 F'. I tried to find any technical description for such a type and failed. I just want to give it the type-designation, which is undoubtedly possible.
Jacob & Sohn is correct. A new additional point will increase your account balance. Congratulation
