Is it based on Mercedes technology, or not?

Let's line up all the ducks.  I this correct:
Postwar, German-built body on a postwar Mercedes B180 chassis?

Now I am TOTALLY confused.
Was your "No" response Yesterday at 22:37:09 a response to this question or the one after it?

Sorry, D-Type, I missed your question(s) and only answered 'sichel' with 'No'.
Now here the response to your question(s):
Postwar: Yes
German-built body: Yes
Postwar Mercedes B180 chassis: No
Sorry once again

It is really based on a 450-107-Mercedes. I have my doubts, that it is based on the lengthened C107 (SLC). In my opinion it's based, without certainty, on the shorter R107-450SL model.

I'd agree. That was the information that I found intially, but I didn't realise what that C prefix referred to. I've now found photos of the car elsewhere and it says it was built by a Mr Striegel from Lampertheim and used a 1975 car as it's basis.

I had the car in my Eigenbau files for quite a while. Now I have a name that goes with it. The car  started with a different front end:
