Too many difficult questions ! So I will try to help you to find the right solutions:

Car: Pastorello: I know about sources, to name this car "Pastorello". More exactly the name is "OP", for "Officina Pastorello"
Type: TF Diablo: No. Consists of four numerals, closely related with the engine
Year: 1974: No, earlier
Built by: Ferdinando Pastorello
Based on?
Engine: Alfa Romeo: Yes but which one?

1) Pastorello?
2) 0502?
3) OP - Officina Pastorello?
4) Alfa Romeo SZ?
5) Alfa Romeo GTA?
6) 1971?

Only small adjustments necessary:

Car: Yes: "Pastorello" or "OP" for "Officina Pastorello"
Type: 0502: No. Consists of four numerals, closely related to the engine's capacity
Year: 1971: Yes
Built by: Ferdinando Pastorello
Based on: Very close, you are on the right way with Zagato...
Engine: Alfa Romeo GTA: Yes

OP 1600, built by Ferdinando Pastorello (Officina Pastorello), TZ2 (!) 1966 based, mid-engined, 1600 GTA-engine, 1971

Please excuse my boring everlasting questions, please feel happy about your well-earned point!

Hi fromwien, you don't have to apologize, it was exciting to find the solution to your puzzle!
Indeed, this deserves further study. For example, to me it is only a modified TZ2 frame, and it was used to build the Tiger (and here I take this opportunity to thank Trefoil, thanks to his question about the Tiger he gave me the answer to another puzzle) and then the name of the Shepherd , an old OP mechanic said it was an OP Cobra ....

Indeed, this car is really an absolute stunning creation. Built up on an slightly modified TZ2-chassis, only (!?) altered, to pick up the GTA-engine in the middle instead of the front! Sometimes ago, I did a lot of research about this car

Dear 'ducamax66', I think, I missed yesterday, to award you with the point. So here it is
