Vanden Plas, perhaps?

Yes, lucky shot! Congratulation to your next point!

Lucky is right . . . if it hadn't been Vanden Plas, my final guess would have been d"Itineren Freres, and that would have completely exhausted my knowledge of Belgian coachbuilders.  It's a very elegant car, especially more so to me without the signature fender-mounted headlamps which were a Pierce-Arrow hallmark. Thanks for posting it.

Thanks to all of you, interested in this puzzle of a very rare car and picture shot
I felt a little bit astonished, that 'FrontMan' identified the car so early as 'Pierce Arrow'. That's worth one of the sichel-bees for him!

FrontMan

Many Thanks for the coveted 'sichel-Bee'!  I've never attempted to count the number of Pierce-Arrows which rejected their traditional headlamp arrangement, but there can't be many. Having accepted the possibility in this case, the wheels, and even the fuzzy radiator seemed to fit in. That "Teutonic" folding top was very distracting, nonetheless. A classic Autopuzzles "puzzle". :)
