Who did this unique coupé conversion to this very early Beetle?

 I have a similar photo but my lack of German language is somewhat limiting in translating that plate on the car's front.  I think the car was built for a client called Peter Lorenz, by a company owned by Heinrich Schwen, who employed Karl Meier - who actually designed and built it.

According to the plate on the bumper this car was designed and built by Friedrich Peter Lorenz from Sandkamp (near Wolfsburg in 1948, nowadays part of it). Karl Meier is mentioned as being responsible for the interior. I can't find Heinrich Schwen's name on the plate. Do you have any proof of his involvement besides the car's similarity to his widened VWs and his connection to Karl Meier?
And I wonder whether the designer was the same Friedrich Peter Lorenz (born 1922) that designed the Lorenz & Rankl Silver Falcon 36 years later. According to his CV Lorenz built Kübelwagen-based race cars shortly after the Second World War.

To be honest I did not really read the big plate on the front bumper thoroughly.

My puzzle photo was published in a book and the text reads like that:

I came to think about it while reading the Durchgeboxt book which is full of mistakes so that I work myself through it in deep scepticism. There the car is called Sandkamp Coupé built by Peter Lorenz Sandkamp. As I wrote before I think it was designed by Friedrich Peter Lorenz from Sandkamp. Beetle historian Rüdiger Etzold says that Lorenz got the money for the car by selling some real estate.
