The last edition of the Lúcio Meira Award, in 1974, was won by the "Aruaê" project, carried out by a team of four students from FAAP - Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado, from São Paulo (SP); designed for the Ford F-350 chassis, it was a vehicle for the Fire Department with an advanced cabin, four access doors, side cabinets with sliding doors and a rescue boat; the project was used by Mat-Fire, from Rio de Janeiro.
