2008 Audi A5 hits the Nürburgring
« on: October 24, 2006, 01:17:54 PM »

Spy photographers have snapped the first photos of the 2008 Audi A5 coupe on Germany's famous Nürburgring test track. The images provide the best look to date at the car's roofline, which differs greatly from the Nuvolari Concept, which is otherwise the basis for the A5.

In May, Audi announced the new model would begin rolling off the production line at Ingolstadt for 2008. Audi is expected to unveiled the car in mid-2007 or earlier. The car will be positioned somewhere between the BMW 3-Series coupe and the 6-Series. It will have similar engine offerings to the A6 line. Gallery after the jump…

Bummer! For a minute, I thought they were mimicking the greenhouse of the '71 Charger.

Alas, it's just cammo on yet another look-alike car.
