Yes, very cool indeed. But I don't see a successful re-entry into the US market for Alfa any more than I see a likely re-entry for Fiat. They are going to wicked expensive and will only sell as an "aspirational" vehicle for yuppies and dinks, Frankly, with MBZ, Jaguar, BMW, Audi, Infinity, Acura, Land Rover and Cadillac all fighting for the same crowd, it is hard to see what Alfa will have to offer that the othes do not. Yeah, some people just want to be different, but the above cars succeed because the owners WANT to be just like everyone else who drives the same make. So, the number of well heeled aspirants who would eschew the usual offerings is going to amount to too small a group to make a business case for bringing the marque here.
I might like to rent one next time I am in Europe, though!
