Audi S6?
« on: July 04, 2006, 11:56:03 AM »
From Autobild:

This looks like a test unit for the upcoming S6 / S8... They've hidden the arches, and its got a powerful engine judging from the rear exhausts and huge tyres...

S6 is to have a variant on the Lambo V10 engine.

...looks like the self-park feature has a few kinks  ;)

On a more serious note, I actually spent a good bit of time driving an A6 on a recent trip west...

I'd say more power and more tire would be most welcome.

When I first drove an A6, it was the old 2.8 litre model w/ 16" wheels and (IIRC) 215 mm aspect tires.  Unimpressed.  Then drove the 2.7 t (biturbo), was impressed how the motor transformed the car and bought it.  Soon thereafter, switched to 18" 235 aspect wheels/tires and, while not a canyon carver, have been impressed ever since.

I am highly tempted, however, these days by the new offerings via Ingolstadt.....
