Ford Focus gets facelift for 2008 Ford isn't planning a complete redesign of its compact Focus in North America until 2010 at the earliest. In the meantime, the automaker will apply a face-lift to the car for model year 2008. Due to reach U.S. dealers next fall, the '08 Focus gets a redesigned grille, headlamps, bumper and fenders.
As it has done with other recent "freshenings," Ford also plans to upgrade the cabin of the Focus, with a new instrument panel, seats and center console. The company will consolidate its American and European Focus models on a common platform after 2010.
