This book is about the only manufacturer of cars from the Netherlands that tried to make cars on a serious scale. Jan de Lange describes in this book how the company started and how it got the first DAF 600. Then he goes on to show how the company would develop their cars to be finally taken over by Volvo. It does not go into the truck manufacturing.
