Those Elegant Rolls-Royce, by Lawrence Dalton first published in 1968. The book has 319 pages and almost all of it is pictures. A great historical book for Rolls Royce connoisseurs. Covering the period 1907 (Silver Ghost) through to 1939 (Wraith) the principle 15 coachbuilders, mainly from the UK, but some from Europe & USA, each have a chapter with a further 40 still receiving good coverage in photographic form & caption. The index lists individual chassis number to the coachbuilder concerned and the bodystyle selected, referenced to page. Not too much structure. Four editions, but now out of print. Offered everywhere at circa 30 - 40 euro, but occasionally a delaer thinks it is rare and the price will be high. Can also be found for very little.
This book was the start of a whole series, not all of which can be found cheaply.
