SOLVED: si_382 - Leyland - Eight - 1920

Obviously, there have been winters with little snow in the past.
Manufacturer, type and year of construction for one point.
A second point is awarded for naming the driver.

It could be Thomas's 1920 development model; the photographs of that are very similar although the wings, lights and spare wheel placement are very different.

Yes, my source says 1920. There may have been some changes to the first copy. There were only 19 of them in total.
So here are two more points, one for the vehicle and one for the driver.

Thank you very much. Apparently in the 1930s Thompson & Taylor were offering two unused complete chassis for £45 each, but no takers so they were sent for scrap. Times and values have changed . . .
