The creator of the DAVID was José Mª Armangué in cooperation with his brother Frick, the initial prototype was made in 1913. Once they have tested it, in 1914 they decided to create the "Fábrica Nacional de Cyclecars David" in Barcelona in association with three more partners: the brothers Ramón & José Mª Moré and Fernando Comas.
