No doubt the Bertone Pirana inspired this car but it's not the right answer.

Piero Drogo was one of three founders of Carrozzeria Sports Cars.
Furthermore there was a close connection to the coachbuilders Neri & Bonacini, but I don't know their role in this case.

I now see that it is a repost I didn't find because of some typos. Merged now.
