FWB Volkswagen 1100cc built by Berlin Volkswagen dealer Fritz Weber. The car cas raced by the Renngemeinschaft Halensee til 1953 in German 1100cc sports car races. The picture was taken during a testdrive at the destroyed AVUS circuit in 1948. The car was driven by Bernard Petruschke a motor bike rider.

It was also known as FWB Nachwuchstyp  in 1953 it had a Porsche engine

Nachwusch was the word I was looking for. As you can see here there is a different person mentioned as the builder

The title should read "FWB Nachwuchs", as Nachwuchs is just the type name, but it was built by the Feinmechanische Werkstätten Berlin (FWB).
