Yes, it is. With bare aluminium bodywork and four orange painted fiberglass fenders. Only mid-engined Tanner.
LOCKED for you to find the year

LOCKED for you to find the year
1966

Is this one of the photos taken by Hugh Nutting?

"I took some photos of Martin Tanner's T-7 at Grayling, MI, in 1966. This was on its first outing. Unlike the other Martin T's it was mid/rear engined. The body was constructed of fiberglass and aluminum. It had wide American Mag wheels. This car was constructed in 1965-66. At that time it had not been painted. It had orange jellcote wings and an aluminum main body cowl hood and deck."

I decided that this couldn't be the T7 because it didn't look rear-engined  ;D. That'll teach me.........
I must be right - that's what it says on Wikipedia

And before you brought it up, I'd decided that it couldn't be a Martin Tanner car because the bodywork didn't match any that I could find images of ;D. Thanks for the help with this one!

Very interesting match to follow between you two
As far as I know, this is the only known picture of the car

That's answered a question I was going to ask. I didn't think it was rear-engined because I can see no obvious air intakes for the engine.

Exactly. No air intakes to find. Saab-engined, VW-transaxle used. Original picture attached
