Since the Dresden factory was located in the middle of the city, it can only be the factory in Radeberg, Oberstraße. This also explains the provisional chassis: transport from the production hall to the storage area.

Yes, those were replacement bodies for Wartburg 312, built in 1968 when the 353 was already two years in production, but demand was always higher than the available number of cars, so offering replacement bodies made sense.
