Indeed, built from 1958 till 1967, the depicted vehicle is the "Schnelllastwagen" version which for other German makers was often denamed as a "Kastenwagen". Is the square either in Hamburg , Hannover or Bremen? In these three northern Germany cities these vehicles were built.

By the way in case correct the point should go to "Bill d isere" since he correctly identified the vehicle which is the most essential part of the puzzle.

I would assume that press-pictures were made in Hannover as that is the city where the roots of the Hanomag were initiated in 1835 with the iron foundry and machine works?

1967 is correct, but the Kurier T Kastenwagen only went into production after 1957.
