One more point for you. At the Paris Salon in 1949, Mr Saoutchik contacted Mr Dietrich at the Veritas booth. The company saoutchik created the design of a convertible, but veritas was running low on cash and therefore no order was placed. A certain resemblance to the Scorpion from 1950, however, cannot be overlooked. Here a photo of the Veritas Scorpion:
